Jason was born and raised in Chatham, NJ. In addition to his love for all things East Coast, Jason also had a soft spot for California and Mexico’s cuisine and abundance of fresh produce.

He spent his early years “learning a little bit about a lot” and after his undergraduate program at the University of Vermont, Jason was able to parlay his experiences into a job that he loved.

He began working at Urban Angler – a worldwide, leading fly fishing equipment retailer and adventure travel agent. He became a partner in 2003 and founded and launched J Fisher, Urban Angler’s online and catalog sales division.

In 2006 Jason left his positions at both Urban Angler and J Fisher in pursuit of bigger dreams – dreams that would take him closer to the green lifestyle that was so important to him and all the natural food he craved.

Now, Jason is at the helm of The Taco Truck, overseeing all operations and ensuring that each element of the brand conveys his original vision of changing people’s lives, one taco at a time.
