Shachar was born in Israel and raised in Amherst, MA. She still considers herself a Sabra, a Hebrew term used to describe a native-born Israeli.
Ironically the word is derived from the Hebrew name for the prickly pear cactus, which is appropriate considering Shachar’s delicate business savvy.
She is a high performance team player and a strategic communicator committed to unleashing brands’ hidden potential and delivering measurable results.
She has a strong background in brand growth and development through the use of strategic planning and integrated communication plans.
She also has more than eight years of experience and extensive involvement in the development, implementation, and measurement of communication strategies and plans within both traditional and non-traditional environments and agencies.
Shachar is also an avid photographer and traveler and has a Masters of Science in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Sciences from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in Political Science and International Relations.
Her passion for The Taco Truck stems from her love of Jason (her husband) and from the simplicity of the cuisine that exudes a fun and engaging environment.
